The launch date next week hasn’t stopped the rumours flow. A leaker named Max Weinbach behind the twitter handle ”@Pineleaks” claims that the iPhone 12 will have a faster FaceID, enhanced camera zoom, and extra battery life.
Apple is planning to upgrade its TrueDepth system by integrating the “Dynamic Zoning Algorithm” in its upcoming iPhones. The addition would enable a faster face detection rate than that on the iPhone 11.
Max Weinbach tweeted that the iPhone notch is not getting any changes in the 2020 iPhone lineup. Except for the mini iPhone 12 5.4” model which will have a tightened TrueDepth system in a less wide horizontally and a slightly increased notch vertically.
The iPhone 12 Pro models will have at least one hour increase in its battery life. The smallest 5.4″ model though, will give less battery timing than the iPhone 11.
The iPhone 12 will also come with a significant upgrade to its digital and optical zooming system. Because of the(sort of) hybrid of cropping and digital zooming – It will combine several frames at different zoom levels and stack them together, resulting in a massive boost in zooming capability of the iPhone 12 camera.
iPhone 12 will also support better macro shots or closer shots than iPhone 11 due to the upgraded Ultra-wide lens.
Apple is planning to reveal four iPhones in its 13 October special event: iPhone 12 mini(5.4-inch), iPhone 12(6.1-inch), iPhone 12 Pro(6.1-inch), and iPhone 12 Pro Max(6.7-inch). All iPhones are expected to support 5G.
