As covid-19 slammed everyone to stay at home, people have started incorporating virtual ways to complete their business and personal tasks. From video calls to screen sharing to recording online classes to meetings and so on, tech giants have done their best to facilitate their users. One recent screen-sharing technique I came across is by using Facebook Messenger, and it works both on the mobile app and desktop software.
Here’s how you can use it;

Why is Messenger a good Choice for you?
Let’s ponder on some of the perks of FaceBook messenger for screen sharing.
Messenger Privacy
It’s from Facebook a well-reputed company, so you know you are secure. In fact, Mark Zuckerberg talking about messenger room links, said in a post,
“Our room links have a string of random characters and digits at the end, with numbers and letters in different cases.
This makes it challenging for hackers to guess the exact combination of characters, and a new link is generated every time you create a room.”
Mark Zukerberg – Facebook CEO
Mark also tells:
“Regardless of whether you use Rooms through your Facebook account or join as a guest, we don’t watch or listen to your audio or video calls.”
No Hassle
Most of the people already have an account on Facebook, so you don’t need to dwell in creating and verifying at all. Apart from these, there are other reasons as well that make Messenger your first choice for screen sharing.
More People & More Time
Messenger Rooms allows up to 50 people at a time, without time limits. This is where messenger beats popular screen sharing apps like Zoom and Skype which require you to pay what messenger offers for free.
Another cool feature recently added in Messenger allows you to easily switch back and forth from your personal and customer messages without hassle.
Conclusion
Though, Messenger does lack features available in paid versions of apps like Zoom and Skype which still makes these a better choice for professionals. Looking for casual meetings? Messenger has got you!
