Apple just recently announced the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, and the users are already posting online about low battery timings.

According to Apple, the iPhone 14 Pro promises 23 hours, while iPhone 14 Pro Max promises 29 hours of video playback.

Usually, users barely report battery problems on their latest phones. However, such hasn’t been the case with iPhone 14 Pro models, with many complaining about the juice draining faster than expected.

It can be a software issue

Although iPhone 14 pro users face battery issues, many users who have updated their existing iPhones to iOS 16 are on the same page.

Many issues were already reported on the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro, which Apple fixed with the 16.0.1 update, launching on day one. The next Apple’s iOS 16.0.2 update fixed camera shaking on the iPhone 14 Pro, among other issues. However, more problems are still out there.

Apple is testing the 16.1 through developer betas and might release the full version in October alongside the iPad iOS 16.1. and macOS Ventura.

While the AW Ultra's battery life is incredible, that's not the case for the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Could be an iOS 16 thing, but I am struggling to make a full day out of it.
