It appears that Apple fans may have to wait a little bit longer before they can get their hands on a foldable iPad.
According to Ming-Chi Kuo’s report on Monday, the foldable iPad was expected to launch in 2024, but that timeline was quickly debunked by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman and analyst Ross Young, who said they have not heard anything about the device being in the pipeline for next year.
Instead, Apple is expected to release spec bumps for their entry-level iPad and iPad mini in 2024, and they are also readying new iPad Pro models with OLED displays.
There is also buzz about a 20.5-inch foldable notebook from Apple that could launch in 2025, but details are still unknown.
Apple has always taken its time when it comes to new product launches, so it is no surprise that they are taking a wait and see approach before releasing a foldable device.
As Apple works on perfecting and innovating the device, gadget lovers can look forward to spec bumps on the iPad and iPad mini, as well as OLED displays for the iPad Pro.
